化合物简介
1,4-Dibromo-2,5-dimethylbenzene was used as a starting material for creating “Chiral Molecular Tweezers”, which bind to various π acids by means of chiral recognition. 1,4-Dibromo-2,5-dimethylbenzene is also used in the preparation of polyfunctional aryl azides (e.g. 1,5-diphenylcarbazide [D487350]) from aryl triazenes.
